- Venture to east Jamaica, one of the island’s least-visited corners, where you’ll glide along the Rio Grande on a bamboo raft (a pastime popularised by that man Errol Flynn) before watching a traditional drumming performance in a local Maroon village, whose beats originate in western Africa.
