- Imagine the ability to float and not to sink, this is a what a dip in the Dead Sea feels like. As one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water, there is a high concentration of minerals which are said to have powerful healing properties.
- Take the cable car up to the rock fortress of Masada, the scene of the epic siege – one of the final events in the First Jewish–Roman War. This is the quickest and easiest way to travel to Masada.
- Visit Qumran, the location of the Dead Sea scrolls. Often called the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th Century, with an expert guide you will learn their significance.
- Tour the Israel Museum to view the renowned “Shrine of the book”. Built in the 1960’s, the shrine houses one of the Dead Sea scrolls. The design of building has been constructed to reflect the battle of light vs dark.
- Walk the famous “Via Dolorosa” in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Representing the path that Jesus, forced by Roman soldiers would have taken on the way to his crucifixion. This is a thoughtful and contemplative understanding of what happen to Jesus on his journey.
- On a private, guided tour of the artists colony in Safed you’ll have the chance to see the work of some of the most established artists in the country alongside new and up-and-coming painters and sculptors.
